This project was to remove the old “classic” fireplace, and replace it with a new contempory fire surround. Carried out at Loose, Maidstone, Kent. Carried out in 2018.

The client asked me to remove there old “classic” style fire surround, because they did not like the look of it anymore, and replace it with a nice new modern, contempory style, which they preferred. So first of all, I had to remove the old fireplace, install a new lintel and brickwork, ready for plastering. Then finally using materials from,  http://www.british-gypsum.com. I was able to float and set, with plaster the brickwork. Leaving it ready for decoration.
