ECO FRIENDLY STRAW BALE HOUSE.

The ceilings, have had plasterboard fixed to the ceiling joists, with the walls made of straw,
so now the ceiling need to have the joints taped with scrim, then skimmed with a finishing plaster, http://www.british-gypsum.com in this unique and unusual building.

A round Eco friendly Straw house.
This round building made with straw, was featured on the Channel 4 series, “Building the Dream”. Series 2 episode 11.
I also had the opportunity to carry out some of the daubing, on the straw bale walls,
using the clay dug out from the footings, and offcuts of straw.
The work was carried out in 2012, in High Halden, Kent.
